I look at being sued by a debt collector like this: If you are going to sue me, you better have the proof and documentation to validate it. I will fight and tooth and nail if the attorney or law firm can't or won't show proper proof. It doesn't matter if I owe the debt or not.

The information shared with you in this book has been used by me and other consumers to win against debt collection lawsuits; simply put it works. It is not possible to guarantee these strategies, but I can say that with the exception of the first two debt lawsuits (where my learning began), none have gone past my Motion to Dismiss. After those two suits I decided I would learn how to fight a debt lawsuit and win. I have since learned how to get debt collectors, attorneys and the lawsuits to go away.

In this book, I will cover original creditor lawsuits and junk debt buyer lawsuits (3rd party collectors), and the similar ways that you will deal with them. I will also cover strategies to keep debt collectors off your back before any lawsuits are filed and how and when to sue a debt collector for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

My ultimate goal is to show you how to overwhelm the opposing attorney and to show them that, on their part, the burden of proving the debt is going to be an arduous, long, tiring and expensive journey. Most attorneys will bail out (voluntary dismissal) once they see that they must spend time and money to prove the case.

I am not an “easy money target” and after you read my book neither will you.

As a consumer I have a very low regard for debt collection attorneys and law firms that file an enormous volume of debt lawsuits. These questionable attorneys are betting the odds that you won’t show up or respond to the lawsuit. For them it’s all about easy money. Statistically speaking, only one in ten consumers who are sued over a debt even respond or show up in court. This is a very sad fact: consumers are giving up their legal right to force these firms to prove they owe a debt or the amount actually owed.

Whether you owe a debt or not, this book will give you tools the that you can use to get these lawyers off your back. An attorney friend of mine once told me, “ This is America: deny everything and make them prove you owe them, if they can’t you win ”. In as many as ninety percent (90%) of credit card debt lawsuits, the lawyers filing the suits don’t have the documentation to prove that you owe the debt and I’ll show you how and what to file in court to make them back off.

Did you know in upwards of ninety-percent (90%) of credit card debt lawsuits that are filed the attorney has insufficient proof that you owe the debt? The reason is that the proper documentation was lost or never transferred to the law firm or the debt buyer.

Sprint Screwed me for over $50,000.00

Because I recently discovered that Sprint had been gouging me to the tune of $1445.25 dollars a month for three (3) years and four (4) months. Will “Internet” Lightning Strike Twice? One Fellow Thinks So

A small business owner in rural Georgia thinks “lightning” can and will strike twice. 42 year old Allen Harkleroad, who became ill several years ago and nearly met with financial ruin, is taking an advertising idea, twisting it a bit and running with it.

After recently reading about a college student in the United Kingdom that raised over 1 million dollars to pay for his college education by selling pixel advertising for a dollar a pixel on his website, Allen decided that if such an idea could succeed once it could a second time.

Allen admits the idea isn’t a new one; however he added a twist to the idea and erected Five Million Dots (www.fivemilliondots.com).

The idea behind the website is to sell advertising “dots” (pixels) and text links to raise money to pay off a massive amount of personal debt, fund his daughter’s college education and to help his church build a new family life center building.

There are five million “dots” to be sold at $1 each, after all of the dots are sold the website will be locked and remain online for a minimum of ten years. Allen claims (and God willing as he puts it) the site will remain online beyond the ten years promised.

“I have so many bills that I had to start keeping them in a large box because they just wouldn’t fit into a file folder anymore. I have several debt collection companies hounding me, they constantly harass me. My daughter just started college last fall so that’s another financial worry for me as I want her to go to school.

During my illness my business suffered greatly and even two years later I still struggle every day to ensure my families basic necessities are taken care of. It’s getting a little better each month, but I still have a lot of hard work ahead of me.

A little over a year ago my church, Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church (Statesboro GA), started a building campaign to fund a much needed life center building. My wife and I made a weekly commitment to the building fundraising in addition to our tithing. I know there is more that I can do and with the Five Million Dots website, I can.

I’ve been digging my way out of debt for two years and while I am seeing progress it is still very difficult and my family cuts corners, budgets and does whatever we have to do pay our bills and meet our church commitments. I have a real burden on my heart to help my church raise funds for the building. Allen claims that in the first week that the website was online that an average of 1,600 visitors visited the site daily and that the visitor traffic is growing by leaps and bounds. As of the morning of January 26, the website shows that over 53,000 pages have been viewed. The website was launched on January 17, 2008 and it appears that the website is already garnering much attention across the Internet.

I believe that Internet “Lightning” may actually strike twice. Allen’s heart is to have financial peace and to give back to his church and community. Small Business Owner Launches $5 Million Fundraising Homepage to Raise Money for His Church and Pay off Personal Debts

Statesboro Georgia - January 21, 2008 – a 42-year-old small business owner recovering from a long term illness hopes to pay off enormous personal debts and help his church build a new life center building (project est. cost $2.3 million) – by selling 5 million dots (pixels) of advertising space for a $1 each on his website’s homepage.

So what’s the deal?

Actually there is no "deal". I'm trying to make $5m (US) by selling 5,000,000 dots (pixels) for a $1 each, which is why the site is named "Five Million Dots". My main motivation is to pay off a massive amount of bills, pay for my daughter’s college education and donate the rest to my church, Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church, so they can build a Family Life Center which is going to cost around 2.3 million dollars to build. Anyone and everyone is welcome to buy my "dots", they are available in 100-pixel blocks (each 10x10 pixels). I would sell smaller blocks of dots, however anything smaller would be difficult to display anything that was very visible.

You can buy as many dots as you like; as long as they are available (see the page stats in the top right corner). When you buy your dots you can display any image or logo you want in your space. You can even have the image hyperlinked to a site of your choice. Please no pornographic, obscene or offensive images or site links please. Your dots will go on the front page of this website. Who am I?

My name is Allen Harkleroad; I am currently 42 years old and live in a small Georgia town called Statesboro. Due to an extended illness about two years ago I incurred a lot of debt and my small business suffered. It's been quite a struggle trying to earn a living since then, more of the money the company makes goes out than comes in, it's hard to make ends meet.

So why do I need 5 million dollars and what will I do with the money?

I have collectors breathing down my neck and I have been living off my home equity loan for the last two years as there hasn't been enough company income left at the end of each month to write myself a paycheck. I have to do everything myself because I can't afford to hire anyone to assist me. Sometimes there is more to do in a day than one person can do. In the fall of last year my daughter started college and a good bit is covered by the Hope scholarship, unfortunately not all of it. I want so badly to make sure she graduates from college.

The church that I am a member of started a fundraising campaign a little over a year ago to raise funds to build a family life center (projected cost 2.3 million dollars). My wife and I made a weekly commitment towards the life center building program in addition to our weekly tithing. It's been a struggle and we cut corners and budget or money to ensure that we can meet our commitments. I want to be able to help my church as they have helped us so much in the last several years. I want to help build the family life center at my church.

I work 5 1/2 days a week from about 4am till 5 or 6 pm (sometimes later) just to make enough money to pay our basic necessities. I owe a huge amount to credit card companies and for medical treatment that I had received. I cut up my credit cards two years ago, thanks to Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, so I don't have any new debt, only old debt to pay off. I just never have seen to be able to break even since my illness and recovery. It's been a constant struggle just to make ends meet each month.

If I could get the debt off my back and start back on square one, I know that things will be better. At the same time I can help my church at the same time. Whatever is left after I pay off all of my debts and put away enough to cover my daughters college tuition will go to my church. You can find me at Fletcher Baptist nearly every Wednesday evening and on Sunday's. I am a Fletcher Sunday School Ministry volunteer, my wife and I help with Wednesday night supper once a month, I coordinate Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Class twice a year (13 weeks per class), and do whatever else is needed there. It is a blessing to be able to serve, I want to do so much more than I am currently able. I also have a couple of ideas for my business but don't have the funds to pay for an additional employee or fund the projects I have in mind.

I could also use some new clothes, I'm tired of buying my clothes at Goodwill. I will post on the blog page (on this site) as I pay off the debts, put aside monies for my daughters education, and offerings to my church to fund the life center. I want you to hold me accountable for these things and know that the money spent to buy your dots and spots are going to good use. Some people will probably think this site is funny or stupid, its neither, but that's okay. I really am selling dots (pixels) on this site for for $1 each. Yeah, I am hustling dots, but I am proud!

I also thought that this idea would appeal to people with businesses and websites as a form of advertising that could be seen by millions of visitors. How long will Five Million Dots be online?

I guarantee this site will be online for at least ten years (January 17, 2018), my goal is to keep it up permanently and online forever (or as long as humanly possible). Think of it as an Internet time capsule that is unique and permanent. You can be a part of it! At some point very soon (as soon as I can afford the programming) I will have a dot count widget that you can put on your own website, that will update automatically each time a dot is sold.

Here is another tragic misuse of US trademark and copyright law to harass an individual. The use of the Avis logo image is clearly fair use and in order for it to be trademark infringement, the blog owner would have to be using it in commerce or advertising. He is not using it as such. If Avis gung-ho attorneys go after this guy then they need to go after anyone using the Avis logo, including newspapers, televisions stations, et al., after all they do use the Avis logo and use it in commerce.

I had a second level page that the URL pointed the URL below, however the title was very long in the left navigation (Automated List Navigation module).

By default CMS 2.0 prevents SQL Script injection. If a script is pasted into one of the content modules it is automatically removed when the module is updated.

The BadBot filter will redirect incoming visitors based on the User Agent, IP address (or IP range), Machine Name, Host name, and even referrer. Partial and Full IP address can be entered. It is similar to 'anti-leech' scripts available on the Internet. By default the BadBot filter redirects users to localhost (sends them back to their own machine) you can also redirect them anywhere you want (other websites for example). Over 500 BadBot entries are included in CMS 2.0. The BadBot filter is a great way to stop bandwidth theft, stop image search spiders, stop form spammers, stop download accelerators, stop hot-linking to images and more.

Extensibility

I've been around the 'Net" since 1992-1993. I've been taking advantage of search engines in regards to getting killer search referrals and high ranking since around 1998. I don't pay for PPC advertising or do any marketing at all. I use search engine optimization (SEO) instead of spending money. All it requires is a bit of my time.

In years past I spend $10,000.00 or more dollars a year promoting websites with banner advertising and pay per click advertising. The return on my investment (ROI) was dismal. However with search engine optimization I found a extremely high ROI and am getting excellent traffic.

Our unique URL re-writing feature in GMP CMS 2.0 does not rely on asp.net http rewrite, it is also different than Joomla's, Drupals or other content management systems that rely on Apache mod rewrite.

We use a URL substitution routine that writes out the URL including articles titles in the URL, it also prevents broken links. If you create an item and go back and change it often times on

Network Solutions Sells Marketing Lists of Domain Owners

Network Solutions one of the most expensive domain registrars and controller of the .com's sells domains owners information to other companies.

I own and manage over 570+ domains and not (finally) all of them are on gkg.net.

I had several still at Network Solutions up until a couple of weeks ago.

I kept getting weird postal junk mail from Domain Registry or American and of late Liberty Names of America. Each of the letters was for a domain I had registered with Network Solutions (NSI). Funny thing is I have NEVER gotten letters from these scammers (Liberty Names and Domain Registry of America) on any of the domains I have at gkg.net.

The letters appears to be an invoice for renewing of the domains I had (read past tense) at Network Solutions. Of course the small print says the letter is an invitation to move my domain to Liberty Names or Domain Registry). I think it is kind of funny that Network

Solutions sold my name and address on a marketing list and the ones buying the lists are trying to take business away from Network Solutions.

While I am on the subject of Network Solutions, these folks are the sneakiest folks in the world, their renewal process (and registration) process is so full of upsells, that if you do not read very carefully you will end up buying a lot of unneeded services. Also the over complicate the domain transfer process in the hopes you screw up and they will not transfer the domain.

I have had several clients that wrote checks to these scheming and scamming Domain Registry of America and Liberty Names of America. They didn't bother finding out where their domain was (all of them were at Network Solutions), they paid the bill because thought it was a bill that need to be paid. In actuality it wasn't a bill for their domain name but underhanded tactics of the above named companies that took advantage of trusting business people. I hate scammers and schemers like Domain Registry of American and Liberty Names of America (i almost want to bet they are owned by the same company0.

The above reasons is yet another reason I have finally moved all of my domains to the best domain registrar on the planet, gkg.net. Hands down their customer services, competitive pricing, uncomplicated registration and management makes then a top choice in my book.

I am so freaking glad to be rid of Network Solutions, now to convince all of my clients still their too move away to another registrar.

Several years ago Designer Today Magazine (http://www.designertoday.com/) was a hodgepodge of html and classic asp pages and quite frankly was hard to manage. It seem almost daily we were finding broken URL’s in the magazine’s pages, images seemed to go missing to be replaced by an empty box with a red ‘X’ in the corner. It was a wonder anyone could find anything at all on the site. The site had grown to over 1400 hundred pages and quite frankly was becoming a nightmare if we wanted to change the navigation structure or add a new section to the magazine.

The magazine staff realized that something was needed that would organize the content, help us to manage the many types of media on the magazine and allow us to change or add new sections without having nightmares about the changes. With a website that has 2,000+ pages we need something that would work well, and, was easy for the staff to use.

We didn’t have a budget for the big league content management systems like Vignette Story Server ($20,000 to $40,000) or Microsoft SharePoint Server ($4,400.00 to $50,000.00), or Ektron (9,000.00), so we began to look at other alternatives such as possibly building our own system.

The staff looked at and tested many web content management systems and portal applications, everything from CGI based to Java. All of the FREE or open source applications (Joomla! and DotNetNuke and others) were nothing more than a empty framework, with some fairly useless basic modules, and required a lot of development and more money than we were willing to spend on them. Nothing seemed readily available that suited our needs as a publishing company. Read our product comparison here.

So what do you do? We decided to build our own, and in the end it was the perfect choice. We happened on a free .net sample application. The only problem with it was that it was a very basic framework that was written in vb.net and ran on asp.net 1.1 and SQL Server. Of course it required quite a few changes and a lot of additional components added to it. We ripped a lot out of the sample application and wrote (or re-wrote) what we needed into the application. We spent (to date) about $15,000.00 dollars and nearly four years of continuous development on the application.

With that constant development time also came a feature rich and very extensible content management system that could be used elsewhere on our 500+ network of websites. With a few changes to the applications layout and style we found we could setup new sites in mere hours and could begin adding content shortly after that.

Today we use the GMP CMS on 98% of the websites that we publish content including 84 “my city” destination sites, several software product portals, subscription content websites, two online magazines, several directory style websites, well, the list goes on and on.

The built-in HTML editor is used in the HTML, News & Articles and Simple Blog modules. While at first glance it appears complicated, however this is not the case and each toolbar button has a specific task.

The editor is very similar to most modern word processors such as Microsoft Word. The editor has three views a normal (or design) view, a HTML code view and a browser (preview) view.

The HTML editor's rich functionality can be access by Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox and any browser built around the gecko rendering engine. Most built-in browser based HTML editors only support Internet Explorer in design view with toolbars. The GMP CMS 2.0 works with nearly any web browser whether you are working from Windows, Macintosh or Linux.

With the CMS 2.0 HTML editor you can add, edit, format text and images. You can also upload and embed videos, music, files, documents and zipped files (archives). The built-in HTML editor even has an online image editor, spell check and the ability to upload and use preformatted HTML templates built in.

Security

One of the most important aspects of a content management system besides managing the content is securing the content.

GMP CMS 2.0 by default is secure. We have leveraged the inherited security methods in ASP.net 2.0 as well as secured content via security roles (user groups) as well as included a filtering system called BadBot.

Tabs (pages) and even modules can be secured so that only the group that has access to view can see the content. You can mix and match security of modules so that a logged in user would see additional content on a page that a non-logged in user would see. You can secure entire tabs (pages) and only allow a certain group or groups to access the content and information on that page.

User roles can be assigned several roles: View/Browse, Edit and Administrator. You can create unlimited security (user) roles. User's passwords are encrypted to prevent theft.
By default CMS 2.0 prevents SQL Script injection. If a script is pasted into one of the content modules it is automatically removed when the module is update.

Leveraging ASP.net security as well as the security roles in CMS 2.0 you can restrict content such as file downloads, videos, articles to only certain groups. Persons not in that particular group would see a login (access denied) page rather than being able to download the restricted content .

The BadBot filter will redirect incoming visitors based on the User Agent, IP address (or IP range), Machine Name, Host name, and even referrer. Partial and Full IP address can be entered. It is similar to 'anti-leech' scripts available on the Internet. By default the BadBot filter redirects users to localhost (sends them back to their own machine) you can also redirect them anywhere you want (other websites for example). Over 500 BadBot entries are included in CMS 2.0.
